A&D Automatic Gate and Access is a licensed contractor in California and Nevada that was founded in 1975. We manufacture and install vehicle and pedestrian gates for private residences, multi-family dwellings, and commercial and industrial projects. A&D is the largest access control company in Northern California specializing in automatic vehicle gates, access control systems and parking revenue systems. A&D features a full-time, well staffed service department which offers 24 hours a day, 365 days a year emergency services. Our service technicians are radio dispatched by one of our full-time service dispatchers. As a means to offer service and installation for all of Northern California and Nevada, we have three offices in California – Redwood City, Pleasanton, and a Sacramento area office located in Lodi – as well as an office in Las Vegas, Nevada. Our offices house fully equipped fabrication shops where we build all of the gates we sell. To ensure the personal touch we pride ourselves on, we employ talented sales engineers, installation and service technicians, as well as our own draftsmen and fabricators.

Sales The department where it all begins: our sales engineers have one main goal – customer satisfaction. Through experience and training, they are able to accurately determine customers’ needs and design a system to meet those needs.

Projects Our projects department is the nuts and bolts of A&D. This is where our customer’s visions are turned into reality by our experienced installers.

Drafting Equipped with a full-time drafting department, we are able to completely design the system you’re looking for. Our draftsmen work closely with both the sales and projects departments to make sure your gate is exactly what you want!

Fabrication Unlike most operations today, we build our gates in our own shops in Redwood City, CA and Las Vegas, NV. We pride ourselves on our craftsmanship and only employ builders we trust to make the best looking, highest quality gates.

Service We are here to help: our radio dispatched service department is always accessible – 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Our service technicians can accurately diagnose and repair, typically on the first visit unless special parts are needed.
